The Department of Psychiatry at Sanskaram University is dedicated to promoting mental health through education, clinical care, and research. Psychiatry is the medical specialty concerned with the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.

  • Academic Activities The Department of Psychiatry contributes significantly to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.General and Clinical Psychiatry,Child and Adolescent Psychiatry,Substance Use and Addiction Medicine,Neuropsychiatry,Psychopharmacology,Psychotherapy and Counseling Techniques,Emergency Psychiatry and Suicide Prevention,Community Psychiatry and Mental Health Programs, Students are exposed to a variety of learning experiences, including classroom lectures, bedside teaching, case presentations, role-plays, and counseling demonstrations.
